How Proteside protects the moment of payment
Four layers working together in the background, between your page and the click on “Pay”, for any payment method.
In one sentence
Proteside is a cybersecurity layer that checks, in the payer’s browser, that the payment details on screen are exactly what the seller issued, and blocks any swap before confirmation, producing auditable evidence of every attempt.
The protection framework
1 · Record what’s legitimate
Proteside learns what’s legitimate on each payment page: the details of every charge (QR code, payment key, payment code, wallet address, amount), the form fields, the authorized scripts and the allowed destinations for data.
2 · On-screen check
While the buyer is on the page, checks run continuously in their browser: what’s displayed, what’s copied, who reads the fields and where the data goes.
3 · Block before confirmation
When it detects a mismatch (a swapped QR code, an overlaid form, a tampered payment code, data sent to an unknown destination), Proteside stops the action before the payment is confirmed.
4 · Alert and evidence
Every attempt becomes an alert for your team and an auditable record. The script inventory and change history form your evidence for PCI DSS requirements 6.4.3 and 11.6.1.
The technical details of detection and blocking are Proteside’s proprietary technology and are shown in a demo, using your real scenario.

What Proteside is not
Not fraud prevention
It doesn’t assess whether the buyer can be trusted. It makes sure the page hasn’t been tampered with.
Not a gateway
It doesn’t process or settle payments. It works with the provider you already use.
No change to the buyer experience
Legitimate payments go through as usual; only tampering is stopped.
Comparison: Proteside goes further and protects the payment.
Frequently asked questions
Does Proteside need access to my server?
No. Proteside works on the payment page, in the buyer’s browser, and communicates with the Proteside dashboard. Nothing is installed on your server.
What happens if Proteside becomes unavailable?
Your payment page keeps working normally. Proteside is designed never to block a legitimate sale.
Does it work with any payment method?
Yes. The same protection framework covers cards, Pix, boleto, crypto, wallets and instant payment rails in several countries, because it verifies the integrity of what’s displayed, whatever the payment method.
